I have been reading blogs and personal websites for over ten years and know that learning directly from other people’s experiences has had a great influence on me in many areas of my life—I even became Muslim after reading about Islam from other Muslims online. So, I really appreciate your comments and insights, please leave ‘em.
However. Comment moderation is on and if your comment does not appear after a day or so, it is probably because of one of the following creator errors:
- I can google the word “Islam” and easily find plenty of hateful people talking hatefully about my religion and all it entails. Well, they are usually misconstruing my religion, but anyway—if you really, really have nothing to tell me other than that you hate Islam and Muslims, don’t bother risking another score in your corporal tunnel syndrome likelihood: I won’t post your comment.
- There is an epidemic problem of illiteracy in America. “[Up to] 23% of adult Americans were not ‘able to locate information in text’, could not ‘make low-level inferences using printed materials, and were unable to integrate easily identifiable pieces of information” on this gigantic, bonafide survey thingy. If your comment is a rantfest based on not understanding what I said in my post or twisting my words to your meaning, then there is just no way I can risk posting your comment and thereby complicating the confusion Americans already have with reading comprehension. If you are not American and ESL is not a viable excuse, then go reread #1. Maybe we have different ideas about what hate is.

I was wondering when you were gonna start a blog! Looks like you went and snuk (sneaked) and did just that, lol! Me likes already mashaa Allaah!
LOL! I love the last two lines! Beautifully put warning for comment spammers!
